That means when it comes to getting the attention of the target audience, it’s not simply enough for companies to create and publish their content.

One of the ways that companies can increase the reach of their content on social media is to use content distribution tools and platforms. Many companies these days tend to spend a lot of time promoting their content through newsletters or on social media pages. While it’s a good idea for businesses to nurture their existing relationships with consumers, that’s not a strategy that will generate new traffic to the company’s website.  This is where content distribution tools can come in handy.

Companies can also turn snippets from other types of content such as infographics, studies, or graphs into their own posts for social media platforms. Additionally, any instructional content can also be repurposed into a video tutorial, which has become increasingly popular in recent years.

Utilizing Communities

Small communities are present all over the internet these days, and companies that are present and available to those communities can use them to improve the reach of their content. Many small communities have been formed for people to discuss important issues, ask questions, and get advice.  When a company is able to join in on those conversations and offer valuable information, it can gain a big advantage.

Another way that companies can utilize communities is by working with their own employees in their content marketing campaigns. With a good employee advocacy program, businesses can improve their content’s reach as well as their conversion and engagement rates with consumers. All it takes is for the business to encourage their employees to talk about the great benefits of the company’s products or services on their own social media accounts.
